Blank Apron Studios started as a place to write fun stories and pursue creative ideas.
Every apron starts out blank. Then you get to work, and it picks up paint, ink and pencil smudges. By the time you’re done, it carries the marks of everything you made in it. That’s the idea behind the studio: start with something blank and see what it becomes.
Our first series is The Cold Cut Kids, a set of picture books about the characters behind the counter at Big Mike’s Deli. Book One, Nobody Needs Plain Ham, is coming in 2027, and there are more stories on the way.
